New City Hall City of Copperas Cove General Administration Offices relocated on Friday, May 3, 2013. The new location, 914 South Main Street in Copperas Cove, features approximately an 8,300-square-foot office complex. General Administration Offices affected by the move include the City Manager’s Office, Human Resources Department, Information Systems Department, Budget Department, Building and Development Department, Code Compliance Department, and the City Secretary’s Department. The Finance Department will continue to be located at 221 West Avenue D until a moving date is scheduled, currently projected for Summer 2014. The purchase of the new facility was approved by the Copperas Cove City Council on January 3, 2013. This move fosters improved communication and operations between departments and will reduce travel for area residents, creating less interruptions during the work day. The purchase of the new facility was approved by the Copperas Cove City Council in January City Council meetings will continue to be held at City Hall, 507 South Main Street. Postings for all meetings of the governing body will be posted at 507 South Main Street and on the City’s website, www.copperascovetx.gov.
