Students Win Big with ACTE’s PSA Contest October 17 is the deadline for ACTE’s an -nual video public service announcement contest. Students can share their creativ-ity for the chance of national recognition and prizes, including $750 for the first-place video and $250 for the second-place video. ACTE Board of Directors Election The 2012 ACTE Board of Directors election will be held this year November 18 to December 19! The ACTE Leadership Development Task Force is launching a new leadership training program to de -velop the leadership skills of existing and potential leaders; the program will begin on Saturday, November 19, at the ACTE Annual Convention. All current state leaders and those interested in service are welcome to attend. The registration dead -line has been extended to October 15. If you are a new state leader, you can apply for a stipend to help offset your travel costs (one stipend available per state).
