R&NR $55/hour; $30/half hour ● Before beginning any new fitness routine, we encourage you to consult your physician. ● Participants, ages 14-15 must participate in a fitness orientation, with permission form signed by parent or guardian on file. ● Youth, ages 13 and under, are not permitted in fitness area. ● Limit cardio equipment use to 30 minutes during peak time. ● Wear proper attire. Shirts and closed-toed shoes required. ● Be sensitive to others. No cell phones. ● No food, gum or drink (except plastic bottled drinks). ● PLEASE WIPE DOWN EQUIPMENT AFTER USE! ● No jeans, belts, cut-offs or sandals. ● Trainers not employed by the City of Richmond Heights may not provide their services at THE HEIGHTS. Youth Orientation Ages 14-15 If you’re 14 or 15 years old and want to work out in THE HEIGHTS’ fantastic fitness center, you need to attend a weight room orientation. You’ll learn to use the cardiovascular and strength machines, the do’s and don’ts of working out and fitness center rules. You must have a current membership card or resident/non-resident ID card to participate in this orientation. Before participating, you must complete a registration form and provide payment. Registration forms are available at the guest services desk. Once the form and payment have been returned, we’ll call you to schedule an appointment. No Charge! Heights Fitness Walking/Running Track Rules Adult Orientation Ages 16+ Did you know that all new members of THE HEIGHTS have the opportunity to receive a FREE fitness center orientation? We can show you how to properly and safely use the cardiovascular and strength equipment so you get the most out of your workouts. Please note that this is not a personal training session. No Charge! ● Anyone 16 years or older (14 and 15 year olds with orientation) may use walking/running track unsupervised. ● Anyone 13 years or younger must be accompanied by a adult in order to use track. ● Please walk/run in the direction post -ed daily. Directional arrow is located on track near entrance. ● Please do not lean on or over hand -rails. ● Please do not throw any item over handrails. ● Please do not spit on track or over handrails. ● Please use inside lane unless pass -ing. ● Please do not stand on track as an observer. 7
