Who will be the stars this year at the Walker Cup? Read all the news and see the pictures in the Fall issue. Breaking Stories It is getting more and more difficult to get golfing news stories in the daily papers. With cutbacks and changes most papers are not sending reporters to cover local golfing events. Most often, as representatives from the local golf organizations will attest, Ocean State Golf is the only publication that has a reporter on site to cover the event. Ocean State Golf only publishes six times per year, but yet, we want to get the information to you, the reader, in a timely manner. In order to do just that, we have set up a link on our website called “Breaking Stories.” You will find the link on the left side of our home page, which is located at www.oceanstategolfinc.com. Our writers are going to do a summary piece of the event they covered that day and file it to the website under “Breaking Stories.” We will continue to have the full coverage when the paper is published, but this will give you a chance to see what is happening currently on the golf scene. Why not put our website as one of your favorites and bookmark it? Another way to keep up on the current golf news is to register for our newsletter online. It can be sent right to your inbox and we won’t bombard it, I promise.
