With the Appalachian Mountains as a breathtaking backdrop, West Virginia captivates and welcomes visitors with its natural beauty and friendly atmosphere. From our rolling mountains down to our beautiful streams and rivers, our state off ers opportunities at every turn. The Mountain State truly is “Wild and Wonderful.” West Virginia is perhaps best known for its outdoor recreation, yet it off ers so much more than that, contributing noteworthy cultural and historical opportunities as well.
