ISSUE N°2 OCT OBER 2011 instead are very expensive, the lowest cost is maybe $500,000 and up to $1.6 M. We have studied the existing solutions. We came into the GaAs mechanical dicing market with a very creative solution, which did not exist before then. The outcome of this was that the industry actually decided to adapt to the ADT concept with its next generation machines. Our goal is to come to this market as we came to the GaAs, with another creative solution. We are now penetrating more and more customers in Taiwan, China, Philippines and Korea. We are doing that so that when we do introduce our product for high-brightness LEDs, ADT will be known. Our solution will be a simple, low cost machine, that will deliver equivalent or better mechanical and laser scribing solutions to the equipment that's on the market today. Dynamic Duo: With its twin spindles, ADT's 7900 Duo has revolutionised the market for GaAs LED dicing equipment.
